Is some of the adult content optional (I really don’t want to see het stuff) or do you have to romance all characters to advance the story?
Although you can go through any of the characters' stories in whatever order you like (for the most part, a couple characters require progress with other characters to advance), you do have to go through everyone to advance the story. The final version might introduce some kind of pick-and-choose mode, but this is how things stand for the moment.
Will there be any chance of impregnation?
I know she's trans... but given the magic around, can we breed her?
also, props for having a trans protag instead of chickening out by saying she's futanari, my trans friends hate that shit. With bottom and top surgery too, no less!
Hard no on pregnancy stuff - not out of physiological impossibility (you're right in saying the presence basically renders that moot) but just because it's not really either of our Thing & therefore we wouldn't do a very good job with it.
One of Sasha's lines at the start appears to imply that she might be trans? That's not a problem obviously, I'm just wondering if I'm misinterpreting her line about not 'having been man for a while' at the start
Nope, you had it right the first time! Sasha is a trans woman who's had both top & bottom surgery (in Opportunity: A Sugar Baby Story, the game in which Sasha first appears, she's complimented by another trans woman on the work she's had done). The story isn't ABOUT Sasha being trans per se, but we did want to drop a fairly hard-to-miss reference to it right at the top.
Aha. I haven't played Opportunity yet, so I wasn't aware that she was in both.
The main part that had me confused was her disappointed response to Diogenes's mention that 'cross-species insemination is all but unheard of,' considering that as yet no trans women have had the capacity to get pregnant anyway, though maybe that's explained in Opportunity
That said, I do think she mostly reads as trans even without that, but I don't think I could tell you why.

Picked this up because I really liked the art and screenshots and so far it has been great! However, whoever came up with the writing point on why the alchemist shop is laid out the way it is deserves major credit. That is hands down the coolest and most clever way to incorporate that theme for that character type I have ever seen in writing in general.

As a former supply chain professional, the dialogue from the first interaction inside the apothecary makes even my eyebrows furrow. That minotaur's stocking methods would be a nightmare on all accounts.
But I will admit it's both very creative and, honestly pretty fitting.

Not quite! Sasha transitioned several years prior to the start of Monstrous Liberation.
That's a big "Yes" on the "sex with monsters" bit, though.

That's right - devs who rely on genAI assets can eat my shit. All of our art is original & hand-drawn, except for the BG assets which are royalty-free photos with a filter laid over top, and we're hoping to get those replaced with hand-drawn art by the next update too.
