Is this a complete series?
I wish! Although I really enjoyed the process of writing the comic & working with SirScarab, it hasn't earned back anywhere near what it cost to produce. I'd love to do more someday, if we ever find ourselves with more money than we knows what to do with.
I totally get it. As a reader, I tend to be hesitant to invest in a series that's not completed yet. It's hard to know if it'll be finished or abandoned. Building trust with your audience is key. Maybe you could consider releasing issues regularly and keeping your audience updated on your progress? That way, readers can see your commitment and dedication to completing the series.
Same here, I'm currently working on my comic series, issue by issue, and I understand why readers might be hesitant to invest in an ongoing series that isn't completed yet. Consistency is key, and I'm hoping to build trust with my audience by delivering quality content regularly.
